Course Description:
Seamanship -5 is an interactive subject designed to meet the needs of the 21st century learners. It is anchored on holistic approach in developing the basic learning competencies in Ship Handling and Maneuvering of BSMT Curriculum. The lessons per quarter are presented in spiral progression to achieve proficiency in various topics.
Seamanship 5 focuses on basic which bring the students to the wonderful world of Ship Handling and Maneuvering. The reading texts and activities are carefully chosen to tailor fit the interests of Cadets/students and to instill in them sense of responsibility, sensitivity and professionalism. With this module, the writer hopes that the learner would gain knowledge, understanding that describe the Basic & Fundamental of ship handling ready to compete not only in the local but also in the global arena.
